One of the best players in the NBA, Kevin Durant has maintained that position for a number of years. There aren’t many basketball players who can compete with Kevin Durant’s abilities on a top level.
However, one big thing that Kevin Durant has always been criticized about is joining the Golden State Warriors to win his two NBA Championships. Even after leaving the Warriors, KD has continued to join superteams in hopes of adding more rings. Due to this behavior, Giannis Antetokounmpo recently called out Durant.
“You keep joining superteams to win an NBA title,” said Giannis. “How about we work out together some time so I can teach you how to carry your own team?”
Kevin Durant and Giannis Antetokounmpo were in the same conference over the last few seasons. But with Durant joining the Phoenix Suns to form yet another superteam, his stint in the Eastern Conference has now ended.
However, that doesn’t mean he will not be called out for friendly banter by players like Giannis Antetokounmpo. Either way, Giannis laughingly destroyed Durant for his tendency to join superteams.

Kevin Durant getting traded to the Phoenix Suns gave birth to a brand new superteam featuring KD alongside Chris Paul, Devin Booker, and Deandre Ayton.
Although Devin Booker believes adding Durant to the team didn’t make the Suns a superteam, he was instantly roasted by fans for making this claim. The Suns are currently 33-29 and hold the fourth seed in the Western Conference.
Durant is yet to make his debut for his new team. Once he does that, the Suns will certainly add another layer of offense and ultimately become one of the most dominant teams in the conference. If that’s not a superteam, we do not know what is.
