The Atlantic page recently introduced a series of American nature photos by Bob Wick, a photographer who has 30 years of holding the camera and actively collaborating for the US Bureau of Land Management. Bob Wick travels and shoots lands across the American West, many of which are well received and shared by millions and some of the images that have become “icons” of wildlife and protected areas. Pictured is a flower-covered mountain taken in 2017 at California’s Carrizo Plain National Monument. Bob Wick shared: “The valley is carpeted with vibrant colors of blooming phacelia and tidy tip flowers. But what stands out more is the Temblor range, which is colored with orange and purple bands like a page in a book. painting”.
