The VFX supervisor of Here had nothing but praise for the tech company Metaphysic that made the de-aging possible.
“It is incredible to see Metaphysic’s AI-generated content flawlessly integrated into a shot live on set. The actors can even use the technology as a ‘youth mirror’ – testing out acting choices for their younger selves in real-time,”
The people over at Metaphysic stated that they hope to prove the power of AI and hope to see further inclusion of AI help in future projects. Metaphysic CEO and co-founder Thomas Graham stated,
“With the support of CAA and by working on projects like Here, Metaphysic is demonstrating the transformative power of hyperreal AI to shape the future of entertainment and to eventually help people create AI-generated, photorealistic immersive content while they own and control their data.”
Not only are the people at Metaphysic praising the lawlessness of AI and its de-aging powers, but director Robert Zemeckis also seems to get a kick out of it.

Talking about modern technology, people found it astonishing that the technology used by Metaphysic is used for deep fake imaging on social media platforms like TikTok. The famous TikTok account DeepTomCruise uses technology to create intriguing videos for people.
Talking about this piece of technology, American director Robert Zemeckis talked about the AI that could change the future and further prospects for the same.
“I’ve always been attracted to technology that helps me to tell a story. With Here, the film simply wouldn’t work without our actors seamlessly transforming into younger versions of themselves. Metaphysic’s AI tools do exactly that, in ways that were previously impossible,”
Here is currently in production with no release date attached to the project. Whatever the case may be, Here starring young Tom Hanks and Robert Wright will be the make it or break it for AI technology.
