Meet Jason ‘Jay’ Hardesty from New Orleans who describes himself as “a very easily entertained UPS driver,” I think these photos say it all.
He began sharing snaps of him and the dogs along his route on his Instagram a few years ago with the hashtag #pupsofjay.
His page quickly began to go viral, with many pictures amassing thousands of likes, he quickly became a hit.
But his route hasn’t always been so full of pets so happy to meet him.
“My old route, which was more families, the dogs did not like you,” he told BuzzFeed News.
“They moved me to a different area of town with more people my age, more single people, and the dogs were a lot friendlier.”

“They come to the door and are happy and let you pet them and stuff.”
Jay isn’t the only UPS driver who has gotten popular by sharing photos of meeting pets along his route, we posted about a ‘UPS Dogs‘ group on Facebook.
Many drivers across the US share photos on a daily basis with dogs, deer, geese, alpacas, chickens, and more.
He actually meets so many pets, that he limits himself to one dog post every Friday evening, which means “there’s actually a waiting list of dogs.”
