‘She really tried rushing Thanos with a taser’: As Marvel Confirms Official Black Widow Sequel, Fans are Trolling Scarlett Johansson’s Infamous Infinity War Moment

Ever since the beginning, we were introduced to new superheroes from the pages of Marvel Comics as MCU progressed until we got the team up of the Avengers in the 2012 film, where the earth’s mightiest heroes came together to save the world. Among these superhuman entities, we were introduced to Agent Black Widow, a superspy that worked for SHIELD under director Nick Fury, played with grace and perfection by Scarlett Johansson till the last.

And during the events of the earth’s stand against the threat of the Mad Titan Thanos, every hero fought valiantly till the bitter end but was rendered powerless against the power of the Infinity Stones he harnessed. During the fight on the borders of Wakanda, every superhero was giving it their all with everything they had, and so was Natasha Romanoff, but what fans are hysterical about is the way she was trying to take the Titan down.

There is no denying the fact that Scarlett Johansson played a crucial role as Natasha Romanoff in the MCU. Being a part of the OG Avengers in the 2012 Marvel Studios film, she proved her worth as a core member of the team by compensating for her lack of superhuman abilities and fancy gadgets with her skills in reconnaissance and espionage, and sheer abilities in hand-to-hand combat and arms knowledge, making her a valuable asset during situations where everything else failed.

Although, when the universe is filled with threats that are superhuman and extraterrestrial in nature, then her viability can be somewhat lessened. After the events of Avengers: Infinity War, fans were choking while holding back giggles as they saw Black Widow charge toward Thanos while holding a high-voltage taser in her hand, and fans were in a fit over that scene for some time.

And with the recent confirmation about the upcoming Thunderbolts movie being the sequel to 2021’s Black Widow by a Marvel Studios executive, fans are revisiting this particular scene to remember the character’s legacy while also chuckling about the good old days.

And now, as everyone eagerly awaits the release of Thunderbolts, fans are expecting to witness whether Marvel Studios will take this project through another prequel or will er witness the revival of Natasha Romanoff in the MCU.

After the events of 2021’s Black Widow, the fans were almost sure that there wasn’t going to be a sequel to the film after Natasha’s death in Avengers: Endgame. But when Marvel Studios executive Andy Park recently made a post on his Instagram to promote The Art of Black Widow book, he also left a message that confirms that the previous Black Widow film and the upcoming Thunderbolts are connected, hinting it to be a sequel in disguise.
