Despite the sad war going on in Ukraine, there are still stories that show goodness in these dark times.
This is the moment when Ukrainian police rescue a puppy from the rubble of a house that was shelled by Russian forces.
Police rushed to the scene to help any civilians that may be trapped in the rubble when they heard a puppy squeal.

All of the people working immediately went to help dig the animal to safety, using gloves to lift any debris.
After a short while, they found a small black and white puppy covered in dust, shivering and gasping for air.
Once the puppy had been cleaned up, the police located its 77-year-old human and gave it back to him.
The man managed to escape the blast but lost sight of his pup during the shelling, he was very grateful to have his pup back.
Both he and the pup received medical attention and, other than a few scratches, are both doing well.
