According to L’Équipe, Lionel Messi returned to training on Wednesday, after he was rested over the weekend for Paris Saint-Germain’s match against Pays de Cassel in the Coupe de France.
Four days from PSG’s clash with Reims at the Parc des Princes the World Cup winner should be in contention for the match. The Argentine reportedly took the opportunity to spend time with his family in the Alps with his family over the weekend.
Marco Verratti also returned to the training pitch – he had been out of action due to a quadriceps injury. The pair both should be available for Christophe Galtier’s side who are hoping to recover from their last Ligue 1 defeat on the road to Stade Rennais.
The Parisian side could see the full line up of Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappé on show for the clash against the Champagne-based outfit, who should pose a significant threat following their earlier draw this season with PSG (0-0) in the reverse fixture.
